First day back in the workplace, and I'm already missing the heat and the wandering and the shopping because a girl can only do so much market research!! The report was a big success and our observation of trend right on point. And she loved my idea for a zodiac animal collection - in sync with the popularity of star-sign and horoscope jewellery collections at home.
Now we're moving on to focus on UK sites as they have been identified as the most highly developed online platforms, with extensive world-wide shipping reach to retail fashion products. We've learnt the rest of the week will be a little more hands on with a jewellery making workshop - fun! - but sadly not a whole lot else. It's my last week and I'm left a little unsure of how to apply the knowledge I've learnt to the workforce I hope to encounter...but only time will tell!
After a day at work, there was time to dash back to the house before cabbing it back across town to Abbey Road for another dinner and drinks with the boys. Very chill and relaxed, my cheese burger was phenomenal (and a reasonably priced 60 yuan) and the start of a much loved tradition for the last few days in Shanghai!
